How the range is built
The Greenstar combi, system and heat-only lines share a common heat exchanger family, which keeps spares and fault patterns fairly consistent across the range rather than scattered across dozens of one-off models.
What we see go wrong
Diverter valve wear on combis after several years of hard water, and PCB faults on older Greenstar i/CDi models that are now reaching the age where boards are the first thing to check.
Servicing and parts
Parts availability is generally good because the range has sold in such volume, though very old Greenstar 30i/40i units are starting to need reconditioned boards rather than new ones.
