Sizing the room, not the wall
Glazing, orientation, roof exposure and occupancy drive the load. An undersized unit runs flat out; an oversized one cycles and dehumidifies poorly.
The pipe route decides the price of the job
Core drilling, condensate fall and how far the indoor unit sits from the condenser matter more than the badge on the box.

Refrigerant handling requires F-Gas competence. We are REFCOM registered, and installations are carried out and documented accordingly.
Having a wall-mounted split installed
Start with a survey of the room rather than choosing a unit solely by the wall space available. The indoor position needs clear airflow without directing it straight at a bed or seat, while the outdoor position needs suitable clearance and consideration for neighbouring windows. Agree the connecting refrigerant pipe route, any wall opening and how visible pipework will be finished. Condensate from the indoor unit needs a planned drain, using gravity where practical; the electrical supply also needs checking. Once the units and connections are fitted, refrigerant pipework is tested and the system is commissioned by an appropriately F-Gas qualified installer. The handover should show you how to select heating or cooling and use the controls for that room.
